NEW ORLEANS, La. – As preseason game two approaches, it remains a mystery just how many of the New Orleans Saints starters will see the field. But the Jacksonville Jaguars made their decision.
It was announced that the Jaguars plan to field most of their starters at the beginning of Sunday’s game in New Orleans. In the first week of the preseason against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Jaguars played their starters on both sides of the ball for one drive each. They could see some extended action against the Saints.
Though the Jaguars will field most of their starters as planned, there will be some unavailable. The most noteworthy being rookie two-way player Travis Hunter, who is dealing with an upper body injury, per Jaguars head coach Liam Coen.

The Saints announced their starting quarterback on Saturday, rookie Tyler Shough. That wasn’t a big surprise, as it was the logical next step in the quarterback battle between him and second-year passer Spencer Rattler. What the quarterbacks’ supporting staff looks like will become clear during pregame warm-ups.
