LSU’s starting center is on track to play Saturday.
Braelin Moore has been eased into practice this week while nursing a sore ankle according to head coach Brian Kelly, and Thursday he was able to join the first team.
“Braelin took all the reps today with the first team,” Kelly said. “He’s ready to go. I think we’re going to list him as probable.”
Moore was LSU’s best offensive lineman in the opener and was injured on the first play Saturday against Louisiana Tech. With star Florida defensive tackle Caleb Downs returning to action for the Gators this weekend, Moore ability to play is a huge positive for the LSU offense.
Sophomore tight end Trey’Dez Green is also making progress with his sprain MCL, but it’s a slower progression.
“Trey’Dez was out on the field today catching balls, moving around,” Kelly said. “He’s going to be probably a gametime decision. He’s not where we need him to be today, but we still have some time.”
Kelly called Green questionable for Saturday’s game.
Freshman defensive tackle Zion Williams is also on the LSU injury report. He’s concussion protocol according to Kelly.
