For the first time in the 2025 NFL season, the New Orleans Saints (0-4) are favored going into a matchup. In the upcoming Week 5 game against the New York Giants (1-3), sportsbooks have the Saints as the home favorite.
At kickoff, NFL Pro had the following DraftKings lines for each Saints game:
- Week 1 vs. Arizona Cardinals: +6
- Week 2 vs. San Francisco 49ers: +3
- Week 3 at Seattle Seahawks: +7.5
- Week 4 at Buffalo Bills: +15.5
This week against the Giants, the Saints are listed as 2.5-point favorites with other top sportsbooks sharing in the optimism.
- DraftKings: -2.5
- BetMGM: -2
- FanDuel: -1.5
- ESPN Bet: -1.5
The last time the Saints were favored in a matchup was Week 14 of the 2024 season. Their opponent? None other than the New York Giants. New Orleans traveled to East Rutherford, N.J. as 5.5-point favorites.
New Orleans left that game 14-11 victors, the last win of the season for the team.
This time around, the Saints are seeking their first win of the season and will have to do it against rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who will be without his top option at wide receiver in Malik Nabers. Nabers’ season-ending ACL injury is a large part of why the line shifted from the Saints opening as underdogs to New Orleans being favored.
