METAIRIE, La. — The New Orleans Saints saw several players return to practice on Wednesday, although one concerning absence continues. Both tight ends Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau made their returns to the practice field, signaling their designation to return off of the Physically Unable to Perform list. Great news for New Orleans.
Here are the players that were not spotted during the open portion of Wednesday’s practice:
- RG Cesar Ruiz
- OL Dillon Radunz
- DE Chase Young
Young’s absence has become commonplace at this point, which is unfortunate. The Saints signed the end to a big contract this offseason after a reliable 2024 year with the team. His calf injury took place during the first practice of the opening week and he has not returned to the field since.
Along with Moreau and Hill, defensive tackle John Ridgeway III also returned to practice. He was one of two players placed on Injured Reserve at roster cuts with a designation to return. That process is now under way for him.
Starting left guard Trevor Penning and tight end Juwan Johnson were working off to the side and observing their position groups without participating.
