Tigers to visit White House on Monday

The national champions are headed to the nation’s capital.

LSU’s 2025 baseball team will visit the White House on Monday, LouisianaSports.net has learned. The trip is a reward for their championship season, the eighth in LSU history. The team will meet President Donald Trump and be honored alongside other national title teams from the spring sports.

LSU swept Coastal Carolina in the national final to win the title in Omaha back in June.

The following weekend, LSU will honor the team during the Texas A&M football game. There is a ring ceremony scheduled for the afternoon in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Then the team will be honored on the field during the football game.

LSU began preparation for the 2026 season last week as fall practice officially opened.
