CHICAGO – In what was expected to be a big game for New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller, the third-year ball-carrier may be about to see his day cut short.
After a seven-yard run in the first quarter, Miller was taken to the sideline. He was eventually ushered into the injury tent where he was evaluated for injury. After being checked out on the field, Miller was then taken back to the locker room without a helmet in hand.

Without him available, the Saints turned quickly to rookie running back Devin Neal on an ensuing third down. If Miller does not make it back out onto the field, Neal’s usage is sure to tick up alongside veteran back Alvin Kamara.
This was seen as a possible “revenge game” of sorts for Miller, going up against a Bears defense led by former Saints head coach Dennis Allen. The former TCU Horned Frog has managed injury throughout his early career, but had been healthy all season leading up to this Week 7 exit.
UPDATE 12:47 p.m. CT: Miller is questionable to return with a knee injury.
