Whit Weeks will miss his fourth consecutive game.
The junior linebacker is listed as “OUT” for LSU’s matchup against Arkansas on Saturday. Weeks has battled a bone bruise in his lower leg for over a month. He’s only amassed 29 tackles on the season after a 125-tackle campaign in 2025. His status for the remainder of the season is now very much in question with only two games remaining on the schedule.
Garrett Nussmeier will possibly give it a go for the Tigers after aggravating a nagging injury in Thursday’s practice. The Tiger quarterback is listed as “Questionable.” Interim head coach Frank Wilson said Thursday that both Nussmeier and Mississippi State quarterback Michael Van Buren would play in the ballgame.
Van Buren entered in Nussmeier’s place after one second half drive last week at Alabama. He completed 5-of-11 passes for 52 yards.
As expected, Tyree Adams, Gabriel Reliford and Nic Anderson will be out on Saturday.
