METAIRIE, La. – As the New Orleans Saints returned to the practice field on Wednesday, ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, only one player was not spotted during the portion of the day open to the media.
As he continues to manage his ankle injury, starting right tackle Taliese Fuaga was the only player not seen. He and tight end Jack Stoll have both been recovering from high ankle issues since leaving Week 9’s loss at the Los Angeles Rams early. Stoll was seen during the open portion.
If Fuaga isn’t able to go this weekend against the Falcons, it will be veteran lineman Asim Richards stepping in to fill the role again, just as he did against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10.
The team’s injury report will be released in the afternoon. At which time, official participation designations will be listed.
Aside from Fuaga’s absence, other notable names include newly-signed wide receiver Jha’Quan Jackson and injured wideout Ja’Lynn Polk, who was acquired via trade in the offseason. Polk was seen working on the side with a trainer while Jackson was participating in practice.
