Add kickoff specialist to LSU’s list of needs.
Aeron Burrell has entered the transfer portal after two seasons handling the kickoffs for the Tigers. He booted all 66 of LSU’s kickoffs and turned 45 into touchbacks. As a freshman, Burrell was third nationally in touchback percentage and earned second team All-SEC honors.
The Bossier City native was among the candidates to replace Damian Ramos who handled field goals and extra points for four seasons and became LSU’s all-time leading scorer.
LSU is now without a scholarship kicker on the roster.
