The New Orleans Saints have signed eight players from their practice squad to reserve/future deals.
These deals are non-guaranteed one-year agreements with players that are not on the 53-man roster that reserve their rights for the upcoming year without costing a team any additional funds against their current salary cap.
These deals provide, at the least, an opportunity for the signed players to be back for training camp in 2026. It also provides them an opportunity to vie for a roster spot throughout that process.
The players the Saints signed were:
- CB Dalys Beanum
- CB Beanie Bishop Jr.
- WR Elijah Cooks
- S Elliott Davison
- DL Coziah Izard
- T Easton Kilty
- CB Jayden Price
- T Barry Wesley
The retention of these players will put the Saints over 50 on the roster headed into the offseason with some players’ contracts expiring or voiding before or as the new league year begins in March.
