Jim Harbaugh won the NFL Coach of the Year Award in 2011 and his older brother John won it in 2019.

Which one will get bragging rights at the family reunion picnic? (do people actually do these?)

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have opened Coach of the Year Award odds for the upcoming season the newest coach of the New York Giants, John Harbaugh, is the favorite.

We often see first or second year coaches (either first time head coaches or a coach with a new team) win the award. Mike Vrabel won last year’s award in his first season with the Pats followed by Liam Coen is his first year ever as a head coach, Mike MacDonald in his second year-ever as a head coach and first-year ever as head coach Ben Johnson.

Of the top nine favorites, only John’s brother, Jim Harbaugh, has been with his current team more than two years.
