Former Amite High School standout and LSU Tiger Devonta Lee has died.
He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, in 2022. He was declared cancer free and returned to football in 2023. The cause of death is unclear at this time, but LSU and Louisiana Tech football have both offered condolences publicly.

Lee played at LSU from 2019 to 2021 before transferring to Louisiana Tech where he played in three games over two seasons.
