With the recent top-30 visits with one of this year’s best NFL Draft wide receivers, this New Orleans Saints mock draft explores the possibility of Arizona State wideout Jordyn Tyson’s medical checks coming back clean.

Here’s what a 2026 draft class could look like with Tyson leading the way in the first round.

Round 1, Pick 8: Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson

Age: 21

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 203 pounds

Arm length: 30 ¼ inches

Hand size: 9 ⅛ inches

Athletic testing

Bench reps: 26

2025 Stats

Receptions: 61

Receiving yards: 711

Touchdown catches: 8

Yards per reception: 11.7

Rushing touchdowns: 1

Should Tyson’s health come back clean and the Saints feel comfortable moving ahead with him as the selection, the team would land a dominant wide receiver to help out quarterback Tyler Shough and fellow wide receiver Chris Olave.

Round 2, Pick 43: Miami CB Keionte Scott

Age: 24

Height: 6-foot

Weight: 195 pounds

Athletic Testing

40-yard dash: 4.33s

Vertical: 34 inches

Broad jump: 10-foot-3

Combined tackles: 64

Tackles for a loss: 13

Interceptions: 2 (both touchdowns)

Passed defended: 5

Fumbles forces: 2

Fumbles recovered: 2

Scott would provide the Saints a perfect heir to the STAR/nickel role that’s left open following the departure of former cornerback Alontae Taylor. He’s played the role already in the Miami Hurricanes’ defense producing eye-popping numbers with his efficiency as a tackler, coverage player and in pursuit.

Round 3, Pick 73: Arkansas RB Mike Washington Jr.

Age: 22

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 223 pounds

Arm length: 33 ⅝ inches

Hand size: 9 ¼ inches

Athletic Testing

40-yard dash: 4.33s

Broad jump: 10-foot-8

RAS: 9.88

2025 Stats

Rushing yards: 1,070

Rushing TDs: 8

Yards per carry: 6.41

Receptions: 28

Receiving yards: 226

Touchdown catches: 1

The Saints’ 2026 draft class could have a major impact on the future of some beloved long-time players. An investment in a top running back like the explosive Washington could change the trajectory of the position group for the foreseeable future.

With three picks having come and gone without an investment in the edge rusher room, it’s time to make our first mock draft trade in order to get in position for a versatile pass rusher that could be a great fit for defensive coordinator Brandon Staley’s system.

TRADE: Saints send picks Nos. 132 and 136 and a 2027 sixth-round pick to the New York Giants for pick No. 105 and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

Round 4, Pick 105: Michigan EDGE Jaishawn Barham

Age: 22

Height: 6-foot-3

Weight: 240 pounds

Arm length: 32 ⅝ inches

Hand size: 10 ¼ inches

Athletic Testing

40-yard dash: 4.64 seconds

Vertical: 33 inches

Broad jump: 10-foot-3

RAS: 8.81

2025 Stats

Total tackles: 32

Tackles for a loss: 10

Sacks: 4

PFF Pressures: 21

Passes defended: 3

Fumbles forced: 1

With the ability to drop back into coverage, Barham’s versatility is hard to ignore for the Saints. He played off-ball linebacker with Maryland before transferring to Michigan where he was utilized as a pressure player more often. His promising production in both areas would make him an intriguing addition in rotation opposite Chase Young.

Round 5, Pick 150: Utah TE Dallen Bentley

Age: 25

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight: 253 pounds

Arm length: 33 ⅛ inches

Hand size: 9 ¼ inches

Athletic testing

40-yard dash: 4.62 seconds

Vertical: 35 inches

Broad jump: 9-foot-10

Bench reps: 24

3-cone: 7.00

Short shuttle: 4.42

RAS: 9.26

2025 Stats

Receptions: 48

Receiving yards: 620

Touchdown catches: 6

Yards per reception: 12.9

The Saints added veteran tight end Noah Fant in free agency, but could look to keep adding to the room. Bentley gives the team another pass-catching option at the position, but also a physical player with the potential to contribute as a blocker as he develops.

Round 5, Pick 172: Auburn OL Jeremiah Wright

Age: 24

Height: 6-foot-5

Weight: 331 pounds

Arm length: 33 ⅛ inches

Hand size: 10 inches

2025 Stats

PFF Pressures allowed: 22

PFF sacks allowed: 5

Penalties: 3

Wright adds to the Saints’ depth with promising physical tools and strength. His 6-foot-5 frame adds to the size New Orleans began to import to its offensive line with the signing of veteran guard David Edwards in free agency.

Round 6, Pick 190: Texas DT Cole Brevard

Age: 24

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 342 pounds

Arm length: 32 ⅛ inches

Hand size: 9 ⅜ inches

Athletic Testing

40-yard dash: 5.13 seconds

Vertical: 25 ½ inches

Broad jump: 9-foot-11

3-cone: 8.60 seconds

Short shuttle: 5.06 seconds

Bench reps: 27

RAS: 5.98

2025 Stats

Tackles: 18

Tackles for a loss: 1

Sacks: 0

Passes defended: 2

Brevard was a part of last year’s Longhorns defense where he was moved away from where he was most effective on defense. During his years with Purdue, the big-bodied defensive tackle was an effective nose tackle and 1-tech disruptor. He’s a space eater that’s hard to move and exactly the kind of run-plugging interior defender the Saints could look to develop.
