One of Louisiana’s best athletes is staying home.
Four-star Braylon Calais from Cecilia committed to LSU on Monday night. Calais is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state’s 2027 class. He chose the Tigers over Ole Miss, Ohio State, Texas A&M and others.
Calais is listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. He does a little bit of everything at Cecila, but he’s expected to play wide receiver at the college level. Safety is also an option.
LSU added Ah’Mari Stevens, a four-star wide out from Ft. Lauderdale, over the weekend. Calais becomes the fourth member of LSU’s class and second from in state.
