Another season has already come and gone for embattled New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri.
For the fourth consecutive season, the 2023 fourth-round pick’s year has come to an early end. The Saints announced Tuesday afternoon that he has been placed on the Reserve/PUP list, ending his 2026 campaign.
Saldiveri also missed the 2025 season with injury, landing on season-ending injured reserve during training camp in early August.
This likely signals the end of Saldiveri’s tenure with the New Orleans Saints and likely raises questions about his NFL future.
New Orleans has heavily invested in its offensive line this offseason and is prepared to sustain the loss, a departure that makes space for the team’s signing of undrafted rookie minicamp tryout receiver Brock Rochsteiner.
With recent additions like rookies Jeremiah Wright and Alan Herron as well as free agent addition David Edwards, the Saints have had an influx of talent along the offensive line and are likely to still have a competitive summer at the position.
Saldiveri appeared in 15 career games since being selected No. 103 overall in 2023.
