While international rumors flood the internet, LSU went stateside for its most recent acquisition.
UTSA graduate transfer Austin Nunez has committed to Will Wade’s program according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Nunez previously played for Arizona State (two stints) and Ole Miss.

As a prep player, Nunez was ranked No. 57 in the country by Rivals. He was a McDonalds All-American Game nominee.
Last year with the Roadrunners, Nunez played in 22 games with 21 starts. He averaged 9.8 points and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 89 percent from the foul line. The 6-foot-2 San Antonio native has been a 30 percent three-point shooter over his four seasons. He scored double figures in eight straight conference games at UTSA.
Wade continues to add mature players to the roster. Nunez is a fifth-year player with 84 career games played.
