Will Wade’s roster may not have come into focus yet, but the SEC schedule has.
The Tigers will draw Auburn twice this year in addition to permanent opponents Arkansas and Texas A&M. The other 12 league games will be split home and away.
HOME OPPONENTS: Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt
AWAY OPPONENTS: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma
BOTH: Arkansas, Texas A&M, Auburn
Based on last season’s standings, the road slate appears fairly manageable. Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn and Oklahoma all missed the NCAA Tournament.
Florida headlines the schedule in the Maravich Center. The Gators return 87 percent of their scoring from a team that won the SEC at 17-3. No one else in the league returns half of its points from a season ago.
LSU has already announced games with Houston and Gonzaga in the non-conference as well as the Palm Springs Tournament.
