LSU among top CFP contenders in latest odds

John Reed

LSU remains firmly in the national championship conversation following a chaotic Week 8 of college football.

The Tigers are listed at 11/1 odds to win the College Football Playoff National Championship, according to BetOnline Sports & Casino, giving them the sixth-best odds in the country. Georgia and Notre Dame have emerged as co-favorites at 19/4, overtaking Ohio State, while previously second-ranked BYU tumbled following a double-overtime loss at UCF.

With the playoff picture continuing to shift, LSU remains among the leading contenders to compete for a national title in Lane Kiffin’s first season in Baton Rouge.
