Most explosive players in the SEC entering the 2026 Season

Fireworks may be over now that the fourth has come and gone, but seeing that we are just 62 days from the opening weekend of SEC football let’s look at the most explosive players for 2026.

LSU RB Harlem Berry

We know that Lane Kiffin gets his playmakers the ball and gets it to them often. Berry might not be RB1 this year for the Tigers after Wisconsin transfer Dilin Jones had a breakout spring. Still, Berry will be heavily involved in this year’s offense. Berry is a home run hitter with the ability to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. We should see that a lot more this season.

Arkansas WR Jelani Watkins

Watkins is a track star that could never seem to crack the LSU rotation at wide receiver behind a loaded group of talented players. Watkins was timed at a 10.17 in the 100 meter dash. He transferred to Arkansas and should have a better chance to play right away.

Missouri RB Ahmad Hardy

Hardy is a big bruising back at 5-foot-10, 210 pounds. But, he doesn’t seem to get enough credit for his explosiveness. Hardy led the SEC in rushing a season ago, but he also led the SEC in rushes of ten, 20 and 30 yards. He even led the country in rushes over 20 and 30 yards with 17 and 11 respectively.

Alabama WR Lotzier Brooks

Brooks was great for Alabama all season long but he often got lost in a cast of characters at receiver that included Ryan Williams, second round draft pick Germie Bernard, and million dollar NIL wideout Isaiah Horton. Brooks started to shine later in the season catching two touchdowns in the first round of the CFP against Oklahoma. He finished the year with seven catches over 20 yards which was nearly 23 percent of his receptions on the year. He should have a monster second season.

South Carolina WR Nyck Harbor

Harbor was a hair short of making the US Olympic track team just a few offseasons ago. He finally decided to focus solely on college football, and it paid off in a big way. He now heads into his senior season ready to put it all together. He got off to a tremendous start a season ago when he led the SEC and finished fifth nationally in yards per catch at 20.6. He should flourish in the offense of new coordinator Kendal Briles.

Oklahoma WR Isaiah Sategna

Sategna was John Mateer’s primary option in the passing game last season. He led the SEC in 20+ yards catches with 18 and finished the season with nearly 1,000 yards in just 13 games. He found the endzone eight times in his final ten games. He finished with 14.4 yards per catch.
