The New Orleans Saints have announced their inactive players for Sunday’s Week 1 season kickoff against the Detroit Lions.

Inactives:

Delp, Kamara and Jordan were all expected to be out for this game due to injury while the rest of the players are healthy scratches for the first week.

With Kamara out, the Saints will be leaning on running back Kendre Miller as the primary complement to starter Travis Etienne Jr.. Undrafted rookie back CJ Donaldson will be tasked to mix in where possible as a game day elevation from the practice squad.

With Ridgeway and Boyd inactive, newly acquired defensive lineman Colby Wooden is in line to have an immediate debut with the team. He’s an acquisition the Saints are high on to mix in with rookie Christen Miller, second-year lineman Vernon Broughton and veterans Davon Godchaux and Nathan Shepherd

The Saints also added tight end Treyton Welch to their 53-man roster ahead of game day and have named wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. a standard elevation for the game as well. Both will have key roles in supporting the offense and special teams.
