The New Orleans Saints have released their inactives list for Sunday’s home opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.
After keeping four active tight ends last week, the Saints are shifting to four running backs against the Raiders, top ball carrier Travis Etienne Jr. was managing a hamstring injury throughout the week, perhaps keeping a fourth back active is connected to making sure that the team has backups necessary, just in case.
Here are the Saints’ inactives for Week 3:
- QB Zach Wilson (designated third QB)
- WR Barion Brown (hamstring)
- CB Martin Emerson Jr. (shoulder)
- DL Christen Miller (toe)
- TE Treyton Welch
- DT John Ridgeway III
- EDGE Tyree Wilson
The surprise this week is edge rusher Wilson, however, who is included as a healthy scratch this week. With the return of veteran defensive end Cameron Jordan last week, Wilson took no snaps on defense and is now inactive this week.
With Emerson dealing with a shoulder injury, Louisiana native cornerback Decamerion Richardson will be active for the first time as a Saints corner.
For the Raiders, the most important news for their available players is an active designation for tight end Brock Browers. How involved and impactful he will be in his 2026 season debut will be one of the most intriguing storylines of the game.
