The odds have shifted a lot since the start of the year, and with the rise of popularity in betting and prediction markets, they’ve even changed a ton from game to game. This Saturday was proof of that when Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell jumped to the top of the Heisman odds by the second half of the Crimson Tide’s game against Mississippi State. Just hours later, Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, jumped back up after another great performance in their game against Iowa.

Here are the three best plays you can make on future bets right now.

1. LSU to make the CFP Y/N – Yes -115

LSU’s schedule isn’t exactly easy to close out the year. October is supposed to be the easy month and it features back-to-back games against currently ranked Kentucky and Mississippi State and a road trip to Auburn. But, November is when things get hairy for LSU and Lane Kiffin. They have Alabama, Texas and Tennessee in three consecutive weeks. LSU is working from behind a bit with one loss on its resume already, but they look to be a different team since the loss. Plus, it’s hard to win on the road in this league. Just look at LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida’s losses in consecutive weeks. The good news is that of all the tough games left on this year’s schedule, only one is away from Tiger Stadium.

2. Georgia to make the SEC Championship Game -205

The odds aren’t great at -205, so I understand not wanting to risk the juice here. However, no one has a better path to Atlanta than Georgia. Not only does Georgia have the easiest schedule in the conference this year, but they also have the best track record of any team in the league of getting to the title game. The Bulldogs have played for the SEC title in eight of the last nine years. There are two games left on this year’s schedule that are even remotely concerning, Alabama and Ole Miss. Both of those games are on the road, but Georgia will be favored in at least in one of them. Getting to Atlanta is nothing new for head coach Kirby Smart, and if they get there their odds to win at -140 are almost a sure bet as well.

3. Miami No. 1 Overall Seed in CFP +1200

This is easily the best value bet on the board in all of college football. Miami is destroying teams this season, and doesn’t look like that will be slowing down any time soon. They don’t play a ranked opponent the rest of the year except Notre Dame. That road game to South Bend will decide a lot in terms of who finishes where in the CFP Rankings. Now, if a Big Ten or SEC team goes undefeated this year they will certainly be the No. 1 overall seed over Notre Dame or Miami because of its schedule strength. Still, the odds of that happening are much lower this year because of the parity in both leagues.
