LSU’s College Football Playoff hopes remain very much alive following a chaotic Week 7 that saw several national championship contenders stumble.
Despite five top-10 teams suffering losses, including Georgia, Indiana and Texas falling at home, the Tigers remain firmly in the national title conversation with 18/1 odds to win the championship, according to BetOnline Sports & Casino.
Ohio State has reclaimed its spot as the national championship favorite at 17/4, while SEC rivals Georgia (5/1), Alabama (10/1) and Ole Miss (16/1) remain ahead of LSU on the betting board. With the expanded 12-team playoff providing more margin for error, the Tigers still have an opportunity to play their way into championship contention as the second half of the season unfolds.
