It’s the biggest Saturday of the year, and we have you covered with the latest updates for injuries from key players in every game. Plus, we have the latest on betting lines from every game. Where is money coming in late ahead of the massive Week 10 slate?
Real or fake? Alabama-LSU availability report littered with stars
The shocker of Friday night’s report was from LSU. Tight end Trey’Dez Green, who wasn’t listed on Wednesday’s or Thursday’s report, was listed as questionable. Remember that distinction means he has a 50% chance of playing.
That’s a big change from not being included at all. Green missed several games early in the season, but he returned against Auburn and was expected to be cleared for the Alabama game. How accurate is his inclusion? Who knows with the perennial gamesman Lane Kiffin making the report.
The list of players on the Alabama side of the availability report was very lengthy. Alabama had five starters and roughly eight impact players included in nearly every iteration. On Friday, we learned that three starters, wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, center Racin Delgatty, and defensive lineman Terrance Green were all in line to play against LSU. Starting offensive lineman William Sanders and cornerback Zabien Brown both remained listed as questionable, which is bad news for a team trying to defend an explosive offense and prevent an elite pass rush.
Georgia gets some help back
There was some good news from Georgia, which may get a big piece of its offensive weaponry back. Running back Chauncey Bowens was listed as probable on Friday’s report. In some good news for the Rebels, two of their key defenders tasked with trying to stop him were also given the same designation. Cornerback Jay Crawford and linebacker Keaton Thomas were both listed as probable for Ole Miss.
Walking wounded in CoMo
What a difference a few weeks makes. No team better utilized its bye week than Missouri. Prior to its break, Missouri had 24 players included in its availability report. Since the bye and ahead of Texas, there are just three players included in its current report.
The same cannot be said for Texas. Edge rusher Colin Simmons and wide receiver Cam Coleman are still listed as questionable with only a 50% chance to play. According to Pete Thamel, Simmons and Coleman will both be game-time decisions. However, their other key wideout Ryan Wingo was listed as probable along with two other contributors who should see the field.
