It’s officially Summer, which means it’s flip flop weather. And mammoth LSU target, Lamar Brown has been one of the most “flip flops” in college recruiting, especially over the last 24 hours.
Brown announced late Sunday that he would not be attending LSU on an official visit cancelling next week’s trip to campus. However, early Monday afternoon, Hayes Fawcett reported that the blue chip athlete has changed his mind and will indeed take one of his five official visits to Baton Rouge as planned.
UPDATE: 5-Star ATH Lamar Brown will now take an Official Visit to LSU this weekend, he tells me for @on3recruits

He’s a rising senior at University Lab in Baton Rouge and has grown up in the shadows of LSU’s campus, so to see he’s familiar with the home state school is putting it mildly. Brown is the No. 1 ranked player in the state and the No. 7 overall player in the country for the 2026 class. The consensus five star has long been considered a lock to land at LSU.
