As the MLB Draft concluded, LSU added a transfer pitcher.
Dax Dathe, a powerful right-hander from Angelo State, pledged to the Tigers on his social media. Dathe punched out 98 in 72.1 innings at the Division 2 level using a mid-90s fastball.
Due to recent NCAA rule changes, I have been granted a year of D1 eligibility.

This will be Dathe’s seventh college season. He’s made stops at Houston, Grayson College, Texas Tech and Angelo State, all in his home state of Texas.
Dathe swung the bat at Houston and Grayson College before making the move to full-time pitching at Texas Tech and Angelo State.
He’s 6-foot-3 and 215 lbs. and will have one final season of college eligibility.
