NEW ORLEANS, La. – The New Orleans Saints just watched another offensive lineman carted off of the field during a preseason game. After losing both linemen Will Clapp and Trevor Penning in the first week, veteran swing tackle Landon Young was carted off Saturday against the Denver Broncos.
Had to bring the cart out for him. Another big potential hit for the #Saints offensive line. https://t.co/vqyOjibdsG

As a six-yard run by rookie running back Devin Neal came to an end, Young was seen grabbing at what appeared to be his right ankle as he fell to the ground.
After being attended to on the field for some time by medical staff, the Saints sent out the cart to help him off of the field.
Young hopped on his left leg, keeping his right leg elevated as he moved on to the cart. His shoe was not removed and a look of discomfort was clearly visible as he was moved off.
The former Kentucky offensive lineman appeared in 17 games last season after having cross-trained between tackle and guard. He joined the Saints as a sixth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. He moved back to focusing on tackle this offseason.
If Young is out for any extended period of time, that will be the fourth lineman to lose significant playing time this year already to injury. More updates will come as the game concludes and Saints head coach Kellen Moore speaks to the media.
