Ole Miss Athletic Director Keith Carter issued a statement Friday afternoon regarding his meeting with head coach Lane Kiffin.

Ole Miss plans to announce Kiffin’s future plans a week from Saturday after the Rebels take on Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl Friday afternoon in Starkville.
Kiffin has reportedly been in talks with both Florida and LSU about their coaching vacancies. Carter has stated multiple times that he would like to reach an agreement on a contract extension.
News will have to wait another week.
