The injury occurred in the first half. Kamara was checked in the injury tent, tested it on the sideline, briefly got his helmet back, then went to the locker room and was ruled out at halftime.

In his stead, the team has turned rushing responsibilities over to rookie rusher Devin Neal, quarterback Taysom Hill and some designed runs for signal caller Tyler Shough.
Kamara entered the game questionable with an ankle injury that’s pestered him in recent weeks. Despite that, the Saints made running back Audric Estime a healthy scratch.
The injury will be one to watch in coming weeks as the Saints’ offense continues to struggle.
