The two planes headed for Tupelo have diverted to Oxford.
LSU’s two jets have re-routed from Tupelo to Oxford to pick up Lane Kiffin, his family and others.

Two planes owned by MMR Group departed Baton Rouge at 1:25 p.m. headed for Tupelo Regional Airport. The planes are scheduled to land in Tupelo at 2:10 p.m. and then return to Baton Rouge.
Lane Kiffin, family members and members of his staff are expected to board those planes and fly to Baton Rouge where Kiffin will be announced as the LSU head football coach.
MMR is owned by Pepper Rutland who was a captain of the 1972 LSU team.
