Lane Kiffin is headed to LSU.
As two planes descend on Oxford to pick up Kiffin, some family members and some coaches, the now former Ole Miss head coach released a statement on X.

It is being reported that Pete Golding, Kiffin’s defensive coordinator at Ole Miss, has been promoted to the head coaching position permanently as the Rebels move on to the College Football Playoff.
A press conference to introduce Kiffin as the LSU head coach is scheduled for Monday.
