Lane Kiffin won’t have to wait long to return to Oxford.
The first-year LSU head coach will take his team to face Ole Miss in the SEC opener, Week 3. That’s part of a loaded September that features home games against Clemson and Texas A&M.
For the first time since 2012, LSU and Arkansas will finish the season together. This time it will be in Fayetteville.
The one-bye schedule will be in place, and LSU will take it in the now traditional Halloween weekend slot in front of Alabama who will visit Baton Rouge to begin November.
The final weeks will be chilly. In front of that trip to Fayetteville, the Tigers go to Knoxville to take on the Volunteers.
