Following the Tulane Green Wave’s final spring scrimmage, cameras found New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough taking the field with a number of Saints pass-catchers for a throwing session.
This continues a consistent track record for the team of additional work happening away from the facility and the continued team-building across the roster.
It’s one thing to practice at the facility during the season, it’s another when players start to take it upon themselves to organize and work outside not just away from headquarters but during the offseason.
WWL-TV’s Seth Lewis captured video as Shough and his teammates took the field for the work session.

This is one of many such workouts we’ve seen Shough be a part of. Before the 2025 season, he and former Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks organized one together in Beverton, Oregon.
Early this offseason, former Saints tight end Foster Moreau posted several videos of another session on social media, during which he was running routes and catching passes from Shough.
WGNO’s Jon Sokoloff was able to get a look at some of the wide receivers and tight ends that were participating.

These showings of extra commitment are only a small peek into the amount of work that players invest over the course of an offseason. Several Saints were also present during the Louisiana and Tulane pro days in Metairie, where cameras wouldn’t be present to catch the work. It’s a promising showing as the team looks ahead to embracing its new era.
