Insiude three weeks to Opening Day, LSU was once again tabbed one of the top teams in the country.
Baseball America released its Preseason Top 25 on Monday, and LSU claimed the No. 2 spot behind conference rival Texas A&M. The SEC claimed five of the top 10 slots and 10 of the Top 25. Tennessee (3), Arkansas (4) and Florida (7) joined the Aggies and Tigers in the top 10.
Perfect Game also ranked the Tigers second in its preseason poll while D1 Baseball pegged the Tigers third in its initial rankings. LSU opened preseason practice on Friday and opens the season Friday February 14 at home against Purdue-Fort Wayne.
