As LSU searches for an eighth national title, right hander Kade Woods is searching for a new school.

Woods, a redshirt junior from Monroe, transferred to LSU for the 2024 season. Over two years, the right-hander has only worked 2.2 innings as a Tiger. His freshman season at Alabama made 17 appearances and posted a 4-1 record with a 5.52 ERA.
On3’s Pete Nakos is reporting Woods has entered the transfer portal with one season of eligibility remaining.
Woods is the sixth Tiger to enter the portal in this cycle.
