LSU signee Corey Barber earns fifth star

Add another five star to Lane Kiffin’s first high school class at LSU.

No, LSU didn’t secure another commitment, but wide receiver signee Corey Barber was named a five star and finished as the No. 28 overall prospect in the Class of 2026 according to Rivals.

Barber committed to Ole Miss when Kiffin was still the head coach in Oxford. Upon Kiffin’s departure, Barber flipped from Ole Miss to LSU. The Trussville, AL., product was offered by Georgia, Alabama and Miami among many other power programs.

He’s listed as 6-foot and 185 lbs., and as a senior he made 68 catches for 1,130 yards and 14 touchdowns. Barber joins fellow LSU signees Richard Anderson and Lamar Brown as five start prospects according to Rivals.
