It’s getting messy in the desert.
The relationship between the Arizona Cardinals and franchise quarterback Kyler Murray appears to be trending toward a split, but the two sides reportedly remain divided on how — and when — that separation should happen. With uncertainty swirling, leading sportsbook Bovada has posted odds on where Murray will take his first snap of the 2026-27 NFL season.
Among the teams on the board are the New Orleans Saints at +1200. While they aren’t listed among the favorites, their inclusion is notable given the franchise’s ongoing search for long-term stability at quarterback.
At the top of the board sit the New York Jets at +300, positioning them as early favorites in the Murray sweepstakes. The Minnesota Vikings follow at +400, while the Pittsburgh Steelers (+600) loom as a strong contender should they decide to make an aggressive move.
A cluster of quarterback-needy teams is tied at +800, including the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts. Further down the list are the New York Giants (+1000), New Orleans Saints (+1200), Kansas City Chiefs (+1800) and Philadelphia Eagles (+2200).
Whether this ends in a blockbuster trade or a prolonged standoff, one thing is clear: Murray’s future is now one of the league’s biggest offseason storylines.
