The Saints continued their run of offensive players in this year’s draft when they selected North Dakota State receiver Bryce Lance in the fourth round with the 136th pick.
Of the five picks the Saints have made, four have been on the offensive side.
Lance is a big target at 6-foot-3, 209 pounds. He secured back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons fo the Bison the last two years and accounted for 25 touchdowns across his three seasons at NDSU.
He is the younger brother of Chargers quarterback Trey Lance and is the first FCS player selected in this year’s draft.
The Saints used the No. 8 pick on Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson and added tight end Oscar Delp (No. 73) and guard Jeremiah Wright (No. 132). The lone defensive selection so far is tackle Christen Miller in Round 2.
