Will Wade’s first guard has been announced.
Divine Ugochukwu from Michigan State has signed with LSU according to Tiger Bait’s Mike Scarborough. Ugochukwu becomes the third public commitment of the 2026-27 roster for LSU.
During his sophomore season with the Spartans, Ugochukwu played in 21 games with 11 starts. A foot injury that required surgery ended his season in early February. When on the floor, he averaged 4.8 points and 1.5 assists while shooting 17-of-40 (43%) from three-point range and 49 percent from the field. His season high was 23 points at Penn State when he shot 5-for-5 from deep.
Ugochukwu is from Sugar Land, Texas, and signed with Miami out of high school as three-star recruit. He’s 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
