Brian Kelly will be busy this fall. It just won’t be coaching.
The former LSU head coach was hired by CBS for the upcoming football season. That much was made clear in the spring. What wasn’t public was CBS’s plan for Kelly. We now know that involves calling Mountain West games for the network.
In addition to those responsibilities, Kelly will have a presence on the weekday show Inside College Football.
Kelly’s contract with LSU stipulated he must seek employment which will offset LSU’s buyout payments. The former coached was fired in October after three and a half seasons with the school.
He has made his intentions to coach known, but that will have to wait a year.
