Sam Leavitt will play on Saturday.
The LSU quarterback was not listed on LSU’s Friday injury report. After missing Wednesday’s practice and returning to action on Thursday with a “questionable” designation, Leavitt appears to be a full go on gameday’s eve.
TJ Dottery remains “questionable” for the third consecutive day. That becomes the most impactful designation.
Dottery led Ole Miss and the SEC in tackles last season. Whit Weeks finished second in the SEC in stops in 2024. He was not listed on Friday’s report after appearances on Wednesday and Thursday. They’ll be tasked with slowing down Kewan Lacy and Trinidad Chambliss who form perhaps the most fearsome backfield duo in the country.
Tylen Singleton, Davhon Keys and Aliou Bah are probable which means Phillip Wright (out), Jaiden Braker (out), Raycine Guillory (out) and Dottery are the only potential absences on Saturday night.
LSU and Ole Miss open SEC play on Saturday night with a 6:49 kickoff.
