Charles Hanagriff, Co-Host, Live at Lunch: Ole Miss has the better player at QB, RB, and lead WR. I think most of the rest of the roster edge belongs to LSU. LSU 37. Ole Miss 28
Hunt Palmer. Host, Hunt Palmer Show: Chambliss is the best player on the field. He toyed with Kirby Smart’s defense twice last year, and I think he has success on Saturday. I’ll take Ole Miss, 30-28.
Matt Moscona. Host, After Further Review: Ole Miss’s defense is not good. LSU’s defense is the best unit on the field. Chambliss is great, but he won’t drive the field consistently on this Tiger defense. LSU 31-24.
Paul O’Neill, Video Producer, Off the Bench: This LSU offense should be able to put up points on the Ole Miss defense. Sam Leavitt just needs to protect the ball, feed his best receivers, and use his legs when the play breaks down. Through two games, the LSU defense looks like the real deal. Can they get over the stigma of “LSU can’t stop a running QB” and actually contain Trinidad Chambliss’s legs? After all the emotion, the TRO’s, serving of court papers, and head scratching injury reports…the Tigers won’t let Lane Kiffin lose this game. LSU 31-24
Matthew Musso, Audio Producer, After Further Review: Defense travels, and LSU’s appear to be elite, but this game will provide some first-time tests for this unit. The Rebels will try to stretch the field and then there’s the mobility of Trinidad Chambliss. LSU doesn’t have to be perfect, but they have to contain. I believe they will. On offense they have to establish a run game that can control the tempo of the game. A run game that more closely resembles Week 1 and not Week 2. This will open everything else up for Sam Leavitt and lead to easier throws and completions. Weather the early storm, let your defense eat and run the ball. LSU 31, Ole Miss 23.
Taylor Sharp, Video Producer, Off the Bench: I think LSU wins this game by double digits. All off-season long I’ve brought up this same talking point. Ole Miss lost 5 of their top 6 receivers from a year ago. Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy are awesome, but I worry about the weapons around them if I’m a Rebel fan. Also, Trinidad is a much better QB than this time last year, but LSU held them to 24 points a year ago and the defense is much better than it was in 2025. I just can’t see them scoring that much this time around. I think LSU should be able to run the ball in the second half and control the game. I’ll take the Tigers 28-17.
