LSU stays ahead of Ole Miss in CFP odds after loss

LSU may have left Oxford with its first loss of the season, but the oddsmakers aren’t abandoning the Tigers. Despite falling to Ole Miss, LSU remains ahead of the Rebels in the latest College Football Playoff futures, while quarterback Sam Leavitt took a significant hit in the Heisman Trophy race.

Here are some notes on the odds changes after Week 3.

  • Ohio State passed Texas as the favorites (once again)
  • LSU remains above Ole Miss despite losing
  • Biggest risers:
    • Florida from 60/1 to 33/1
    • Tennessee from 55/1 to 40/1
    • Iowa/Louisville from 150/1 to 100/1
    • Mississippi St from 175/1 to 100/1.

  • Biggest fallers:
