LSU wide receiver Nic Anderson was involved in a car accident on Friday, head coach Brian Kelly told Wilson Alexander of The Advocate.
Anderson spent the night in the hospital for observation before he was released. Kelly told The Advocate that Anderson would be away from the team for “about a week” but should be ready to practice when fall camp opens at the beginning of August.
Anderson missed nearly all of the 2024 season at Oklahoma with injury problems. He was limited in spring practice, mostly participating with a large sleeve on his hamstring/quad area.
When healthy, Anderson is a dynamic playmaker. He set the Oklahoma freshman record for touchdown receptions in 2023.
