Holly played his freshman season at LSU in 2023 when he appeared in three games and scored a 67-yard touchdown against Army.
In February of 2024, Holly was arrested in relation to a Farmerville, LA., shooting. He was originally charged with three felonies. Holly turned himself in.
Two months later, the attempted murder charge against Holly was dropped, but he was still to stand trial for Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and Illegal use of a Weapon.
Multiple delays to the hearing have pushed the court date back. The most recent was a July 7 delay due to a broken air conditioner in the Union Parish Courthouse.
Holly broke the Louisiana state record for rushing yards at the prep level. He ran for 10,523 and 160 touchdowns. He was a four-star recruit by On3, and Rivals named him the N. 4 running back in the nation.
