Kyren Lacy’s attorney has released a statement in support of the District Attorney’s process and findings.
Matthew Ory, who has represented Lacy since the charges were filed as a result of a fatal collision earlier this year near Houma, wrote the Following on Sunday:

Lacy died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 25.
Louisiana State Police has reiterated its stance that the evidence in the case supported Lacy’s arrest and prosecution.
