Paul Mubegna remains doubtful 24 hours closer to game time. That means LSU will have a decision to make at right guard.
“Right now, Coen Echols has gotten most of the reps there when Paul hasn’t been in,” said LSU head coach Brian Kelly. “We have a lot of confidence in him. But Carius Curne is repping there as well. So, we’ll kind of see how that goes if Paul can’t go.”
The biggest question mark at this point is wide receiver Aaron Anderson. He missed the second half against Ole Miss and was held out of practice during the bye week. He’s still listed as questionable.
“Yeah, I wasn’t sure, we listed him as questionable and I think that it was real,” Kelly said. “He’s steadily gotten better each week. Today he was at 19 and a half mph, so he’s above 85 percent which put him into some practice. He’ll go again tomorrow. I think he’s day-to-day.”
Anderson was LSU’s leading receiver in 2024 and leads the team in receiving yards after September.
