Report: Colin Hurley injured in accident early Thursday

The following is a statement from Colin Hurley’s family: 

Colin would like to thank the first responders, the incredible doctors and nurses at Our Lady of the Lake Health and the many Tiger Fans for their care and compassion. Colin is resting and is stable while more tests and care are being administered. We are confident that Colin will make a full recovery from this terrible accident.

LSU quarterback Colin Hurley was involved in an automobile accident early Thursday morning according to a report from WBRZ.

The accident occurred on campus, and authorities had to remove an unresponsive Hurley from his Dodge Charger.

The report says that impairment was not suspected.

Hurley, a Jacksonville, Fla. native, enrolled at LSU in January as a 16-year-old. He redshirted in 2024.
