The 2025 College World Series Finals featuring LSU and Coastal Carolina was the most-watched two-game CWS Finals on record, ESPN announced Tuesday.

LSU topped the Chanticleers 1-0 in Game 1 Saturday night and 5-3 in Game 2 Sunday afternoon on ABC.

The two games averaged 2.5 million viewers, with Game 2 averaging 2.8 million, the sixth-most watched CWS game ever. Sunday’s game peaked at 3.0 million viewers.

It was the fourth-most watched finals ever.

LSU’s 2023 CWS win over Florida remains the most-watched finals, averaging 2.86 million viewers. Game 3 of that series set an individual game viewership mark with 3.59 million people tuning in to watch the Tigers top the Gators, 18-4.

It was the eighth CWS title for LSU in their 20 appearances in Omaha. Coastal Carolina was making their second finals appearance after winning their only title in 2016.
